Amish School Shooting

Not to bring everyone down but I just needed to mention something about this unfathomable tragedy.

There isn't much to say. I am completely unable to understand how anyone could do something like that. It is a level of evil that I simply can't get my head around.

Is it wrong to pray that this man's soul be damned to hell? Suicide is way to good a fate for this guy.

I think God cries on days like this.

It's rare for there to be a school shooting in a 4 month period; there have been 4 in probably less than a month (Colorado, Canada, Pennsylvania..and I think one in Wisconsin where a 15 year-old kid shot his principal). Weird.

I get the feeling there are one of two reasons for this:

1. They actually occur more frequently than we think, almost like California highway high speed chases, but we get them fed to us in bunches by the jokers we call the media.

2. There is some element of "copycat" involved. One guy does it, so someone else pondering doing so goes through with it.

2 is a direct result of 1 in my opinion.

Some of these bigger schools, don't the doors lock on the outside? Ours did in grade school and high school. I know the Amish schoolhouse wouldn't have this security, but any large public high school?
