Air Force vs Army

Slow night on the TV tonight, AF up huge 43-0 2nd quarter. Scored 36 in the 2nd alone. Damn is Army bad.

Army kept knocking at the door but no score until that perfect pass in the back of the endzone. Quinn couldn't do it any better.

How long do you guys think Ross can hang onto that job at Army before they realize that they would be better off using his salary as TP?

Do you think there's somebody better that wants a Div 1 coaching job with no redshirts, no transfers, tough academics, no NFL prospects, have to split practice time with the Obstacle Course and Night Infilitration?

The other two acadamies have had success, why hasn't Army? I just don't think Ross is head coaching material. He is a good coordinator, I just don't feel he's a good head coach.

Navy's only had success very recently. Air Force was decent but lately hasn't been that great (relatively). Heck, Army beat Air Force last year. and Army wasn't doing so badly this year. They almost beat A&M in Texas, they've had a few decent wins, blew out some IAA teams. Take away all the turnovers and this game might be a little bit close.

I don't think Army's gonna be able to get a better coach given the conditions.

The most interesting thing about that game last night was when ESPN showed the graphic of the top 5 money-making teams in the country and ND wasn't on it. The ND hater society must have had a collective coronary as it effectively took the "but they're making billions and don't have to share it" argument out of their arsenal.
