I didnt read the whole story, but from the little I did read it was some kind of recruiting violation. If USC and joe mcknight can be caught red-handed with a recruiting violation, and nothing happen to them; then UCONN should not worry at all.

Again, I didnt read the whole story, so unless there is some gross vilation that I didnt see, this will be a non-issue. slap on the wrist, at most. USC didnt even get a slap on the wrist.

No he wasn't. He was going hard on a silly reporter who questioned how much he got paid.

Sad day up here in CT. Very disappointed in the staff. If UConn gets slammed I'm screaming about USC immediately.

My feel is that there won't be heavy sanctions. The guy never played for UConn.
I think this is good for UConn. This will straighten out how and who they recruit. Don't sell your soul to the devil Calhoun (see Paterno).

From/Live in Hartford. I've been a UConn B-ball fan for as long as I can remember. This sucks in epic proportions. The feeling around here is one of dread. We already see Calhoun retiring within a year and with Tom Moore (thought to be a successor) jacking this crap up the way he has it looks like we will go back to being garbage circa 1985. Sickening.
