Good get for Texas A&M. Good on ND's staff for taking their shot. He was always a longshot and it was always going to cost ND a lot of money to even be in the mix. Good luck to the kid in Aggie Land.

I maintain my previous post that ND fans ought to be focused on the following group...

SDE: Aidan O'Neil or Makai Brown
WDE: Abraham Sesay or KJ Green (longshot)
Talented Project: Ifeanyi Emedobi

If ND can land any of those combinations st DE they will have done extremely well.

Would you take O’neil, Brown, Seaday and Ifeanyi? Some have said O’neil may be a potential dt? To me it matters if you land Parks, the other Chicago Dt, and Montana

Heck yeah I would. If ND could land 3 players on the edge with the talent O'Neil, Brown and Sesay and pair them with a guy like Emedobi, who has enormous upside, I'd definitely take them. Wayyyy too hard to get elite edge talent. If they all want to come you take them and figure it out later.

Both Brown and O'Neil have those frames that could go either way. Both could be 265-270lbs SDEs if their body doesn't naturally add a bunch of weight. They both could also go the Chris Burgess route and be 290lbs by the start of their sophomore season.

Yea. As long as it doesnt hurt the 28 de recruiting. Big hunting that class too

I'd never turn down a top 100 guy in the current year, in hopes of landing a top 50 guy the following year. I take the stud now and figure it out later. Too much can happen that causes a recruitment a year out to fall through. If a stud wants to come, take him 99% of the time. There would have to be a pretty unique situation not to.

Definitely not! Especially with the hit rate for us at the position being terribly low with the top 5 guys on the Edge and DT.

I still believe that Jackson Vaughn will be a part of the 2027 DE class. Way too much smoke around him reclassifying
