Beechwood is 2A in KY. Competition is better than you would think for small school ball in KY, but nowhere near 5A or 6A where most of the DI kids are living. However, I’m sure Gino and MFMF know that Beechwood is one of those NKY schools that consistently punches above its weight, so when you see this kid’s highlight film, where he’s moving at a different speed than his well-coached, pretty talented teammates, that says something to a guy like Gino who was from Highlands in Fort Thomas, or for Freeman who had to find those types of kids at the Ohio schools consistently.
