They have some serious speed on that team.

And some hogs. What I wouldn't give for that kind of talent. Holy smokes.

TD pass on a slant on 3rd and 20 for Monds. Super poised in a busy pocket and his WR did the rest.

I’m so damn impressed by his poise and how he keeps his eyes down the field. Tough to believe he’s 16. He’s got a better pocket feel than most college QBs.

And just like that Monds threw a Carr vs USC level pick in the red zone. Totally unneeded

I was blown away by his film. Some of the best I've seen. Honestly thought I was watching a 5 year NFL vet. His build is going to be highly beneficial for him very strong and built. Outstanding pocket presence- one of the most underrated attributes of a qb. Tom Brady was the king of this. Good, physical runner. Great arm strength also. Kid looks like the complete package.

Monds finished 13-for-25 for 213 yards. He also ran twice for 11 yards and was sacked twice. Monds had a 21-yard touchdown called back because of a holding call

Watched most of the 1H - Don’t think he played much of the 2nd. It’s game 1 but his OL was awful and most of his incompletions were throw aways bc of heavy pressure. His coach also kept throwing tunnel screens that got blown up which was the reason for the completion %.

Overall he looked the part, very poised, accurate, athletic, and great arm talent. Really great pocket awareness for his age. I would have given him an A for the night if he didn’t throw a dumb redzone INT at the end of the 1st half.

I watched the first 2 drives of the second half. He definitely looks the part. Agreed with terrible OLine. So hard to judge HS players esp Tally when you don’t watch much.

It was only a preseason game so I don’t take much from the game other than I think the kid has unbelievable tools to be elite at the next level. He’s severely underrated because of the reclassification to the 27 class. What a pickup for ND!

His o-line might not be that bad.
The team he faced had real dudes on it and I believe they're defending state champs.

He’s a total beast.

Reminds me of a young Jameis Winstonin that he moves a little jerky but then just absolutely dominates.
