I'm no expert, but he's a good or better from a talent/projection standpoint that most of the top guys on the initial board. And he's got the game production on top of it which is a tie breaker, imo.

I also am no expert, not even close compared to most on this board but it's hard to compare him to others that were previously on the board. He seems a good fit for the slot. The earlier board had more boundary and field guys. We need both obviously but seems we struggle attracting field and boundary guys and do well with slot guys ... I wonder why that is?!?!

What’s the latest

Singer is being told from Cooper that he will make a final decision “a week after the [Notre Dame] visit.”

ND really likes Cooper as a prospect. It's either he sticks with SMU or flips to ND. He has no other reported visits lined up. Same goes for Mizell, either Arizona or ND with no other visits scheduled. Mizell is not [supposedly] in a rush. Me thinks the staff will wait on Cooper's decision before ultimately pushing frantically for Mizell.

Makes no sense they need both. Have tons of scholly room and are dissimilar players

ISD seemingly indicates ND would, in fact, take both. In fact, Jamie outright said ND would go up to 5 WRs in this class.
Well you have to look at it as us basically having 2 WR commit right now, so we need 3 more guys.
