Visiting today for the Grill & Chill

Reports 3.9 GPA & 4.6/40

Good offer list. One of Loy's boys for 2025. Didn't get an offer as a Flex (up until now) so now is also pushing him as an Edge. ND's obviously keeping close tabs on him as he's been to ND a bunch and he got invited to today's exclusive event. Loy also made it pretty clear that ND is the dream offer.

Leo is just outside Fort Wayne for those not familiar with Indiana.

I say take him without knowing much about him. Good ranking. Indiana players have a high rate of working out for nd

I'd like to see him in a camp setting with Jack Larsen, Marshall Pritchett & Gabe Kaminski to know what you're getting or passing on at the Small Flex, Big WR or Edge position. Of all of these right now (based on highlights & production) I'd lean towards Kaminski at Edge and if you are looking at Schott, it would have to be on O. Would impress me if he had some Tommy Tremble level blocking in space highlights included with him out sizing / athlete-ing overmatched rural DB's.

If we don’t snag him, he turns into Hutchinson or McGregor. Mark it.

I don’t think McGregor would start for us this year and I think Burnham has a higher ceiling. Definitely not a Hutchinson level player.

Can’t remember the last “big athlete” type ND has taken in a class seemed more common under BK than MF

ND's probably gonna pass on him and Gabe Kaminski and both will have above average B1G careers.

Spoke to someone in the know and they are pretty sure he wants to go to ND. I’m unsure if he’ll get that opportunity. I’m all for taking a kid with that wants to be at ND with his positional flexibility. Low transfer risk and you have time to determine best fit for the roster.

My hope is that in this constant search for immediate talent we don’t lose sight of player development and the recruitment of athletes.

It's crazy thinking we would pass on a top ten TE in a class when we are taking 2. But Cure and Flanagan are that good. Even as an Edge we are looking at much better players in 2025.
You get a guy like this as an ATH and plug him in somewhere...You take his upside over some 3* who probably has no business at ND and transfers into the abyss to a lower level in 2 years.

Can't wait for this kid to commit to OSU and for ND to spend the next 10 months fruitlessly trying to get him on campus to flip him.

I think he may be a better defensive prospect. This is why I think he should be a take with positional flexibility. He’s more than likely ours if we want him.
