He's an elite prospect, IMO. I said Mayo was my favorite edge prospect because I, still, don't know how realistic landing this young man will be. But, he's worth the time and effort.

Absolutely.

Just looking at DE in TX with ND offers, he's my favorite of the three. I don't think you can go wrong with Nigel Smith or Joseph Jonah Ajonye but when I look 3-4 years into the future I like Thomas' potential a bit more.

I don’t think people had him in the mock classes but this one seems to be trending nicely.

The staff also put themselves in a great position with Mylachi Williams.

Hopefully this sets up in a position where they can choose the BPA. And as several of recruiting reporters have said, Rushing will always have a spot. He likely could play some base end in addition to VYPER.
