You might be able to beat Duke a couple of times if you come to the U? Maybe?what does Miami have to sell to recruits when it comes to on the field success. i know they have great weather but not much else when it comes to the football program
Why should it be expected? He's been to ND four times at least. Let him do his due diligence and see the rest. If it means making a more informed decision that leads to a verbal and eventual signature with ND, this should be our preference as fans. These fly by night verbals get everyone all excited until everyone realizes the dude didn't go around and visit, so months later he decides that's what he has to do and the pant pissing commences.Has he been back on campus in '23? You'd expect a Chicago Kidd to have made a visit by now if either side was serious.

I want a played out process that results in verbal commitments that show intent of shutting down the process entirely. Lightfoot has seen ND a lot already.
Also apparently has the biggest dick in Chicago.Lori Lightfoot is from Massillon, was quite a hooper. Played at Michigan, had a side gig serving food to the football team, may have served food to Jim Harbaugh when he played for Bo
The odds of a prospect deciding to commit without multiple senior year visits to said school are low and he likely lives under 2 hours away. Heck, even Justin Scott found a window in between his Starbucks barista job, other school visits etc. to visit. Why should it be expected? He's been to ND four times at least. His senior year hasn't started yet. Last month alone he picked up offers from Alabama, Texas, Oregon and Maryland. It would appear according to premium site people that ND is in the mix with Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan State at this point. If the staff is communicating with him while he's going to other visits I don't see an issue. He lives about as far away from Champaign IL and Madison WI. He's visited each one once, though more recently than his ND visit. The odds of a prospect deciding to commit without multiple senior year visits to said school are low and he likely lives under 2 hours away. Junior year visits are great to begin building relationships etc., but those likely don't have the focus and attention from coaches of the prospects going into senior year/decision making mode.
I'd encourage all prospects to perform their due diligence to find the right school, whether that's ND or not. I have no problem with Lightfoot visiting the B1G schools or Miami or wherever else.
My point is this: actions almost always speak louder than words in recruiting. If a nearby prospect isn't visiting multiple times going into his senior year, he isn't coming.
Hence I'm not sweating this too much. I think every guy you mention here has more upside in my opinion. Staff may think so too.The recruiting calendar has sped up to the point where ND has the majority of their class filled by end of June. It'll be interesting to see which guys the staff pushes for or which ones speed up their decision timeline. Lightfoot may not have the luxury of waiting until the fall, if his interest in ND is legit.
Mullins was the first domino and if Young pops, my guess they'll push for one more vyper/end. Williams is my pick (excluding Rushing or another elite edge defender).
Looking for a good bumpCommitted to Miami
