Per Singer, Huff is expected to be at the Blue-Gold Game. He's also being recruited as a Vyper.

From what I have gathered across a few sites, the realistic Vyper board and options looks like: Jacob Smith, Marquise Lightfoot, Adarius Hayes, Elijah Rushing, Danny Okoye, Jayshawn Ross, Loghan Thomas, Brian Huff & Jaxson Jones.

Gotta think Arkansas has created ties earlier than the rest. Including former DC Barry Odom who’s now HC at UNLV & I’d wager the only reason UNLV is in the running.

While I know some have expressed concern over LB recruiting sans possibly landing Shaw or KVA.

However, in terms of the staff making a pivot, in-cycle. This is one where I’m glad they made the move to guys like Kahoun and Rezac early over settling for pushing for someone like Huff who was already on the board. They started to go down the board and instead of just taking the next name on the list. They re-evaluated and found some they liked more.

And history has shown (despite small sample size) that ND hasn’t signed a kid from the state of Arkansas who ever saw the field in modern history (Rockne years don’t apply). Again…small sample size…so never say ‘never’ but I agree with your post based on talent & location.
