Very good film. He's got elite length. When his wingspan comes out it's gonna be impressive. I watched his 2019 Hoops film and was not impressed but I did spy those arms. He's physically developed a TON since then.

247 put him at #125 overall today.

Works out to be the #24 overall DE right now.

Got that feeling ND'll be in it till the end.

FREEBIE'S from ISD & 247

On campus today (supposed to be at least)

Rivals made him a 4* last week. 247 has him as a 4*/92 at #90 overall.

Big time want for me. He's got the much desired length, quickness, and twitch I want from edge rushers. Will need to add strength but that is what Balis is here for.

Ugh, my heart broke a little when he mentioned playing both basketball and football might be something he wants. And, that Oklahoma will let him do that. Those guys will say anything and I'm doubtful ND gets in there. We'll see.

How common is it that a kid plays both basketball and FB at a big school?
I am guessing it isnt unheard of, but it must be rare to say the least.

Drake London at USC played a bit his freshman year. Would be shocking to see a D-Lineman do it though

Tony Gonzales at Cal.

Joe Howard at ND in the 80's. I've played a lot of basketball, Joe Howard & David Rivers are the fastest guys with the ball I played against.

David Rivers could've been a HOF CB.

Sean Connor punted a couple of times in '88 if that counts. Had to throw that out there for my guy!

Oliver Gibson was a DL for Holtz in the late 80's who did a turn with the BB team. Surprised Holtz let him, maybe it was a recruiting promise. He was a USA today AA (way before Rivals came along) equiv to a 5 star today but he ended up as a NT and really didn't live up to the hype. BB didn't last long.

If you want to go back even further the Townsend brothers, Mike and Willie, bailed out a woefully undermanned BB team in 1971(?). They were almost immediately the best players on the team. Both made AA in FB.
