Carmel (Ind.) high school three-star linebacker Will Heldt is a talented prospect from the class of 2023. The Fighting Irish coaching staff has been keeping a close eye on him and will likely get him back on campus this summer to workout and give him strong consideration for a scholarship offer.

Mentioned in the Moore thread that I watched that game. Exciting game back and forth. Moore fell a tad short of pulling it out, but he sold me. I was most impressed with his accuracy when throwing on the run.

This is a good get for Purdue. He’s got the potential to be a Ryan Kerrigan type for them. These are the kinds of guys that they’re going to get now that we’ve sort of been able to shift our priorities in recruiting. Guys like Heldt and Lauck are the kinds of Indiana kids ND will land 95% of the time if they push for them.
