never, ever inhale next to some daffodil who blogs for the Mets and the IceLanders (to quote the great Steve Schmoozer Summers.-that's a New York THANG))

That's the best I can do for you.

Are you one of his blog subcribers?

Did you get your beanie and decoder ring?

Good for you!

I’ve never read a blog in my life. I’ve never had social media, ever. No Facebook, no Twitter, no MySpace, no TikTok, nothing.
Only time I wore a beanie was the black ones we wore in the military.
You really need to stop trying to sound witty and insulting people. You are just coming across as senile & douchey.

Tim Prister said on II podcast Schrauth if he signs with ND would be the second best guard commitment of the BK era after Quentin Nelson

Selling a top Guard in the 22 class to join an emerging crew of Fisher Alt and Spindler should be very enticing.

It seems like Schrauth silently committed to ND at some point in the spring/early summer, then silently decommitted then committed or flipped to Wisconsin. Then I guess this gush of ND momentum was from a silent decommit from Wisconsin.

Would it have been more fun to have that not be “silent” lol. Example 1000 why it’s all silliness to use that term

Well Rocco Spindler may end up being that . . .

Prister said right after the above comment "I love Roco, but Schruth is something else".
So, he's on record thinking Billy is better on paper.
Also, I don't know how much wait I put into HS talent evaluation from Tim. He's great reporter, ND Man, but that's not his area of expertise.

Schrauth is such a good athlete that I legitimately think he could be a solid P5 DT.

I have no clue either as to how good or bad Tim Prister is at evaluating high school football players but I think I have a clue as to 2 things:

1. Tim is no slouch in the brains department.

2. He has been seriously evaluating high school football players for a long, long time. I can't be the only one here who goes way back to the pre-internet (or at least the pre-Irish Recruiting Journal) Huntley Bakich to Randy Moss days of Tim judging kids and standing by his call whether good or bad.

This might’ve finally been the visit that put us over the top. The visit Singer kept telling us was coming last Spring, lol.

Back then, they wanted to get to campus to give a commitment. Obviously, the recruitment tightened up and that never happened. Wouldn’t be surprised if that was this weekend.

From the sounds of it, Rees and BK for the W here. Not saying Quinn shouldn’t get any credit but from how Loy has made it sound is Rees and BK came for the close recently.
Interesting. Did you get the impression that they simply closed (don't mean to undervalue that) or are they the reason he reconsidered at all?

I want this guy but it seems like ND fans are head over heels for him. Is he better than his .92 rating? Is that the expectation? His offer list isn't great.

Or is it just we want a OL from Badgerville that they are also all in on? Just wondering if the consensus is he's underrated.

The #167 overall prospect AND a guard, which we could use pretty badly. It'd be a huge get.

This is huge to me. He was my 5th guy on the Joe Moore winning OL in 2023 that leads the Irish to the Natty. Glad he's back in the expected haul.

The school visit had a big impact. 247 also has Rees as his primary recruiter now. Don’t know if that’s always been the case or not.

Offensive line coach Jeff Quinn has also been involved here, but it should be noted that Rees has been leading the way with the program’s emergence in the race for Schrauth.

That’s an excerpt from this article talking about ND resurgence with Billy.

Schrauth is a stud. Would be a great get. Also, Wiltfong was at Tanona’s game the other night and he looks great. Chan is much less of a project than originally thought and is getting a lot of praise as well. Looks like we could end up with 3 starting level guys from this class. That’s huge.

First year Irish OL Coach Justin Frye and his revamped 2024 line featuring first time starters Tanona, Chan & Proctor might have some early stumbles as they are tasked with replacing 2 1st & a 2nd round draft picks off of ND's National Championship team but have the luxury of building around pre-season All American guards, Sr. captain Rocco Spindler and Billy Schrauth after his breakout sophomore season for the Joe Moore Award winners..

Is that how that works?

So….the 247 Wisconsin site just put up a premium article in the last 20 or so minutes titled, “Billy Schrauth 3.0” that has a lot of upvotes?
I’m sure nobody here has a subscription to that site, but curious what’s it about since they had multiple Schrauth articles recently since ND jumped back in front and now another article with upvotes?
I wonder if it talks about it being over for them or if it talks about another twist?
