Looking at Buchners role in his first season with the packages he looked pretty damn good. Minchey is shifty and quick but don’t see much push on his part on a direct snap QB run like Leonard or even Buchner would run. I think the change up offense would be better run by Buchner. Didn’t think Buchner was awful. Kind of a better version of Andrew Hendrix. Don’t want him to start but for a play or two here and there I think he brings a different wrinkle.

I believe they were at 95 scholarship players heading into the spring, which is apparently their target in the new rules allowing for 105 players, all of whom can be scholarships. The belief is ND wants to hold 10 spots open for walk-ons.

It seems there is a possibility that the 105 might be a gradual thing rather than a hard cap this year. Players on rosters currently would be grandfathered in and the 105 would apply as they start to run out of eligibility

I love out here in SoCal and even when ucla is good (hardly ever) the Rose Bowl doesn’t get half full. Compare that to Rocky Top and this guy fades into oblivion. UCLA is Uscs red headed stepchild out here.

This makes sense now as Cristobal and Miami offering him irresistible coin. This is nearly theft considering it's OU backyard and is a homegrown talent. Cannot wait to crush the Canes August 31.
