Kyle Kelly (On3) put in three predictions today for ND: Zackery, Shanklin & Lange.

He joins Singer, who has predicted Zackery and Lange to ND. Wiltfong & Loy have CBs in for Shanklin to ND, so it's good to see another guy on the beat follow suit.

I hope IB is wrong about the staff only taking 4 wide receivers which includes Bettis who sounds like is in the fold already. There are some very talented receivers on the board who we seem to be in a decent spot with

Yeah that number can't be right, I highly doubt Colzie or Thomas is back after this year, plus the 3 tranfers thats 5. You can't even bank on all the Freshman and Sophmores coming back now. I would take 5

Don’t we need 1 or 2 more DT’s in this class. Thank goodness we paid Cross and Mills to come back this year.

Don't worry. History is on your side
I don't mind IB as much as some others, but aren't they also the only site that is saying that ND is done at OL, and will probably not have room for Lange? Despite all other sites future casting or cb'ing or whatever they do for him to come to ND. The biggest issue at IB, in my mind, is that they don't ever seem to come off their ideas. They seem to double down on their opinions when many reports are contradictory, then they get pissy when called out on it. I don't mind bobblehead Vince, but his take on Mike Denbrock not coming back was completely wrong, and he was so adamant about it, that when he was wrong, he was bound to get called out on it. Then the IB boys get all defensive as to why he is getting called out.

Must gets:
Shanklin
Meadows
Golden and or Zackery
1 LB from the pool of NOB, C.Jones, Sacca, Mikhail, Faraimo

Luxuries:
Lange
Talyn Taylor
Blair

Subject to change if there’s any decommits.

Agree with the must gets but I would say Golden and Zackery. Would also add another WR here and go to 5 because of Bettis

I am worried because Meadows is a boom or bust type of recruit. His production in HS is underwhelming but his physical skills are 5* caliber.

RVB or Taylor would be my 2nd WR. I’d prefer Taylor but either one would be a solid pickup.

I am worried about LB recruiting. They got KVA last yr, but I’m not sure the other 2 can play. Don’t love Kia or Hulak (whatever he counts as) in this class. I think Faraimo and Mikhail are going to stay out West, C.Jones is a Nebraska lean, and NOB probably ends up in the SEC. That doesn’t leave a whole lot of options. I really like DesLauriers film, he’s a more athletic Bertrand. Didn’t love the kid they brought in for a visit yesterday, he’s a low B10/MAC level LB.

They (stupidly) refuse to drop Bettis, so it’s Meadows and one of Taylor or RVB. Can’t take 6 WRs.
ND can't get out of its own way in recruiting at times. The tendecy to accept a bunch of lower level prospects instead of waiting for the bigger fish usually always backfires.

So we're stupid? The fan who takes what IB claims at face value is the stupid one.
The Staff is stupid for continuing to recruit him. He’s not worthy of a scholarship. If he had a difft last name, he wouldn’t be on the Board.

And it’s common sense, they’re not taking 6 WRs.

Marco Jones has also been a top priority, and ND is fairing quite well with him. He can play a multitude of positions - MIKE, WILL, VYPER, and potentially base DE if he continues to add good mass.

With 3M's success developing Sauce & Cam, I wonder why he didn't swoop in and snag Tarrion Grant? How could dude say no?

This dude looks like his 3.0

That’s an awfully high ranked commit for Purdue

My understanding is he’s plan B for Shanklin. I think 247 now has him ranked as an Edge.
