Starting this to get some updates from the Indiana guys but please post what's going on in your area too.

If you were following the D Bowen thread... Andrean lost their rematch from last year's Final with Evansville Mater Dei in 2A

Next up is local (first school west of South Bend) New Prairie vs traditional power East Central which is down by Cincy.

East Central already up 21-0 behind possible ND PWO, Josh Ringer who visited for the BC game. He's rushed for 2200 yds + this season.

St. John Bosco just knocked off the #1 team in the country, Mater Dei. Mater Dei was playing from behind all game and got to within two with 3 min remaining, but the RB was stopped just short on a 2 Pt conversion and Bosco ran out the clock on the next possession. The loss snapped Mater Dei’s 29 game win streak and ended the career of their legendary head coach (who is retiring after the season).

My buddy is the new football coach at my first HS Scecina Memorial. He has his first game on Friday up at Concordia Lutheran in Ft Wayne.

Small world. Concordia is like 5 minutes straight north from where I played my college ball. We practiced fall ball there and Hersh ran the fuck out of us on that track/football field.

My grandson lives up there too. Trying to get his old man to take him to the game, but we’ll see.

Was supposed to go to Warren but Ott Hurley convinced us in Scecina instead. Was coming off back-to-back state titles. He bolted for Butler though right before I got there. Never actually played a down for him.

RHS started recruiting me after my Frosh year in baseball. I was playing summer ball with a lot of their upper classmen. My old man decided that was the best path to get more exposure and ultimately a college scholarship.

Not once, or twice, but three times he left us stranded at the airport flying out to ID. There wasn’t a 4th time as they booted him after time 3.

I’d be a NC had our coach came.
