2020 Week 12 Watch Party

Clemson-FSU is cancelled.

I was looking forward to watching this just to see them in their first game post-ND. COVID cost Lawrence any chance for the Heisman.

Sounds weird but I think IU has a better chance upsetting tOSU if they were 2-2 vs being 4-0. Now tOSU is not going to be caught off-guard. I think they cover the 3TD spread easily...but a man can hope. Go Hoosiers.

They play at the same time as ND next Friday. Should add them in with the week 13 watch party.

Yep, I saw the time slot last night. Bummer. I'll be streaming and trying to keep an eye on all the games. Definitely interested in 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A games. I have family and friend's with kids in a lot of the games.

Yea, nice to have 4 Catholic schools in state for 2A, 3A, 4A, and 5A.

Looks like FW Luers is going to make it for 2A (leading a close in the 4th), but Evansville Mater lost, so no Catholic vs Catholic 2A championship.

In 1A, Laf Central Catholic lost, but at least there a Christian school (Covenant) going to state.

The only all heathen matchup is 6A lol..

I heard DB say RHS beat the #1 and #3 4A teams 77-28 the last two games, or something close to that. I totally didn't see this coming after game 2 this year. Hobart has rolled through the playoffs like we have, but hasn't had near the comp. Their only loss this year is to Andrean.

My Alma Mater Marian Knights actually hung with Chatard. Was hoping for the upset.

Well that was nice. After that big pass play I was thinking, he better get in the EZ b/c IU cannot run the ball. Good job converting it despite that. I’m gonna keep badmouthing IU and hope the reverse jinx works.

My Alma Mater Marian Knights actually hung with Chatard. Was hoping for the upset.

Chatard is pretty darn good. They beat 4A Roncalli, another State finalist, and only loss is to 5A Cathedral, another state finalist. And Cathedral's only loss was a close one to another state finalist 6A Center Grove.

Marian hung with them. IIRC it was less than a TD game. So while losing always sucks, y'all did what most teams couldn't.

I've always wished they'd let the class champions play each other after the state finals.
Chatard/Roncalli/Cathedral/CG would be a crazy good championship tournament (assuming thos 4 win).

I'd love to see IU INT JF a few more times. Even if they lose, might be enough to knock him out of Heisman contention.

Not sure they lack speed as a whole though. They've gotten a ton of takeaways this year, and 2 INTs today. And just getting through to the QB is pretty good vs OSU. They just can't finish.
