Book leads a last minute drive and ND kicks a fg for the W. Hello Rosebowl and OSU.

I’m a kool aid drinker usually. I thought we’d win last time. I feel like we’ll be tough and down 3 with ten minutes left. Clemson will have a long drive to close it out with a TD to go up 10 with under two minutes left. We’ll drive down and turn it over to end the game. We lose by 10, but it will be in doubt for 58ish minutes. This will easily show enough to get us the playoff spot.

Unfortunately we get Bama as a prize. Clemson gets the 2 seed and pounds OSU. We watch Clemson smoke Bama. People conveniently forget we split with Clemson and we end up being ranked 4th because reasons.

Bama beats us with a rough turnovers game and we remain frustrated by a letdown when it counts.

OR

I’m an idiot and we beat Clemson, then either OSU or TAMU/Fl/Cincy/etc. we finally get Bama. Bama plays pretty well, but they really haven’t played anyone in a weaker than usual SEC. we win the whole thing

Its going to be hell for ND and Clemson no matter who wins. Both teams will have its share of fatigue and possible injuries. Quite crappy considering Bama gets crap FL and OSU gets to ho-hum Northwestern. Just doesnt seem fair honestly.
