I'll take Browns at 33 and I'll just go ahead and make the pick. Darius Guice, RB from LSU. He's an animal and if he drops out of the first round then it's an easy decision.

I'll take the NY Giants, who select Frank Ragnow, C from Arkansas, to address their OL needs. He has also played Guard.

The browns will select CB Mike Hughes from UCF. To be honest the browns shoulda taken Chubb at #4 because they will still be able to get a quality RB with the last pick in RD 2

After evaluating the Colts depth chart, both picks will be defense with Nelson helping fortify the OL.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/depth-chart/IND/indianapolis-colts

With Pick 36, the Colts select Josh Sweat from FSU. With the Colts moving to a 4-3 defense, they will need an explosive pass rushing DE.

With Pick 37, the Colts select Carlton Davis from Auburn. Has good size at 6'1" for a CB and the depth chart for CB is weak for the Colts.

It's been an hour. The Buc's pick is open. If no pick in 30 minutes, Chicago is on the clock.

Hmmm. Ideally, they should trade back. No 3rd rounder. They need a RB to replace Martin. Guice, Michel, Chubb, Penny are available. Donte Jackson or Duke Dawson if CB. Tough to drop to 4th round for a CB.

This mock did:

Bucs Team Needs with Mock draft picks. MJ Stewart, CB in 4th.
NFL Draft Needs: Bucs - Draft Decisions - Rotoworld.com

Oh hell i gotta figure other teams trading down. LOL. But i can agree with that

Tampa Bay has Safety needs with many mocks picking Derwin James, SS to them in the first round. TJ Ward has been a failure. Ronnie Harrison and Justin Reid are possibilities. Donte Jackson is very fast but a smaller CB, 2nd team SEC. Duke Dawson, first team SEC, is more of a slot corner. If I went DB, I'd probably choose Justin Reid.

But the Bucs need to juice up their running game, ranked 27th averaging 90 yds per game. Their leading rusher, Doug Martin, averaged 36 yds/gm and was released. Jacquizz Rodgers, who gained 244 yards in 2017, is listed as their first team RB.

The smart pick in my mind would be Derrius Guice, RB, LSU. Guice could step right into a starting role. Take a DB in the fourth - M.J. Stewart, Anthony Averett, McFadden, Holton Hill, Isaac Yiadom. One analysis compares Guice's running style to Earl Campbell's.

Just my thoughts. On to vinnymac for da Bears?

Mayock's next ten available.
25. D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland
32. Sony Michel, RB, Georgia
34. Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama
35. Hayden Hurst, TE, South Carolina
36. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
38. Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State
39. Austin Corbett, OL, Nevada
41. Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
43. Nathan Shepherd, DT, Fort Hays State
45. Billy Price, C, Ohio State

Chicago Bears select D.J. Moore from Maryland. A young receiver to groom with Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel. You can’t ever count on Kevin white to finally get healthy. Moore is one of the top wr in the draft and the Bears will take him without hesitation.

The Broncos select Rashaad Penny, RB, from San Diego State. Their primary RB, C.J. Anderson, who gained over 1,000 yards, was released. Penny is a three down RB who led the nation with 2,248 rushing yards and scored 23 touchdowns on 289 carries, finishing fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting and chosen as a first-team All-American. Penny also caught 19 passes for 135 yards and two scores and scored twice on kickoff returns, averaging 30.6 yards on 17 attempts (ranked fifth in the FBS).

Da Raiders are on the clock!

Mayock's next ten available.

32. Sony Michel, RB, Georgia
34. Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama
35. Hayden Hurst, TE, South Carolina
36. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
39. Austin Corbett, OL, Nevada
41. Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
43. Nathan Shepherd, DT, Fort Hays State
45. Billy Price, C, Ohio State
46. Harrison Phillips, DT, Stanford
47. Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State

The Raiders Select:

Harrison Phillips, DT, Stanford

They also need help at OT and CB, but the value simply isn't there. Phillips might even be a stretch in terms of value, but it was the best available pick to fill needs.

The Raiders also considered Hayden Hurst, but the need along the interior DL was too great to go with a best-available pick.

Since the last pick was over an hour ago and we have no GM for the Miami, the Dolphins select:

Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State

Miami also has needs for an OLB, but it's a stretch. Lorenzo Carter and Darius Leonard were considered. Their TE, Julius Thomas, was released. Goedert is considered the top TE with excellent pass catching abilities, though his weakness is blocking.

New England is on the clock!

The New England Patriots select:

Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State

The Patriots' need at OT is pressing enough that they make a slight reach that Oakland wasn't quite prepared to make just two picks prior.

It also helps that they had already addressed two big needs with 1st-round picks.

With the 44th pick, Washington selects:

Sony Michel, RB, Georgia

Great value at a position of need. Washington was 28th in rushing last season. Against SEC competition (and ND), Michel ran for a total of 1,227 yards on just 156 totes, an outstanding 7.9 yards per attempt, and scored 16 times on the ground. He also adds receiving skills to Alex Smith's arsenal on offense.

Green Bay is on the clock!

(Anyone want to be GM for Dallas or for Buffalo's two picks?)

With the 45th pick in the 2018 IE NFL Mock Draft, the Green Bay Packers select:

Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU

c2f3f2a92d46414ec6610ec8b2f07940-original.jpg

Edge rusher is a pressing need but Packers also need a new WR after they released Jordy Nelson. Sutton has promise and should bring some playmaking ability to the offense.
