Theo is quick, but not as quick as Bush. Bush also has elite speed, which Theo doesn't. I don't expect Theo to start next year, but be the #2 and third down back.

I'm not sure on this. I had to (to my disdain) watch a lot of Lions football last year. Bush is not the player he once was. Riddick seemingly can do everything that Bush can do at this point in his career, but at a much younger age and better price.
Listening to NFL radio on Sirius yesterday, they seemingly believed that Bush's role is now Riddick's. They fully believed that he will be the guy next year, as much as there can be a "main guy" in today's (or in particular, the Lion's offense) brand of offensive football.
