Wynne is going to score a ton of goals this year playing off the ball and Perkovic looked great. Our offense isn't going to have any trouble scoring this year but we looked shaky at the face-off x and in goal.

Not quite the score I was expecting but figured it may be closer than I hoped for. Really disappointed there's not a feed of the game. 6 goals by Wynne...quite the debut huh!
Didn't they start last year off with some skeptical goalie play too?

Denver is scary good on offense. They continue to win face offs, that team will be tough to beat.
Good early season win for the Irish. hoping the poor goalie play may have had something to do with inside play? I sound like a broken record, but I hate these early season games. Too early to be playing lax outdoors in most areas.

Next week we're at Michigan, who has been pretty impressive on offense to start the season. This isn't a total doormat team of years past. ND will need better play in cage to win.

ND opponents Michigan (#20) and Marquette (#13) new additions to Quint's top 20. Marquette will almost surely be ranked in both the full media and coaches polls when they come out. Offsets Ohio State being losers.

What do you think about today? It's michigan....surely ND comes ready to play, gets better goalie production, and comes out on top.
Perk is coming home and playing against several former teammates so I expect him to be pumped and have a great day.

They got 2 back against 3rd/4th string but I'll definitely take the 9 goal drubbing and better play in cage. Hopefully Doss keeps it up next week and then rolls into Denver with high confidence.

Week 3 Media Poll, ND holding strong at #2:
Cascade/Maverik Media Poll: Albany, Yale Rise and Holy Cross Enters | Inside Lacrosse

Big shakeup likely coming soon as top 10 teams start squaring off on a semi-weekly basis. #1 Denver vs #4 UNC, #3 Syracuse vs #5 Virginia are games to watch. Other takeaway is that Marquette and Army are both solidly in the top 20 now. Two more tough opponents on the schedule that many thought wouldn't be more than speed bumps.

I watched Army/Cuse last night and I thought Army looked really good. If they could have figured out how to win a face-off I think they might have stolen that one from Cuse.
I do think ND's schedule is quite tough and am anxious to finally see them in action next week!

UNC just took down Denver 12-10. Denver's defense looks a LOT more vulnerable than they were supposed to be. Yielded tons of quality looks against Duke/UNC. They have a good goalie and good FOGO but a lot of work to do otherwise outside of their offense.

I agree. ND can definitely beat Denver next week but it's still going to be really hard at Denver. I almost expect that the Denver/ND match-up takes place of the Duke/ND match-up....in relation to Denver beats ND during the regular season but ND gets revenge and beats them in the title game!

Dartmouth today....Surely ND looks crisp and manages a good victory.

UND broadcast at 1 PM. ND should hopefully win by 8+, anything less than 6+ would be a disappointment. Need to see the defense take a step forward today.

I got home from a basketball tournament and expected to find this on espn3 replay only to find out it wasn't there. What the crap? Was the game on at all?
I read up on it and ND outshot them 50-18? Nice!!!

ND was on fire early. Dominated play. A lot of good goals and movement. We looked the much better team, but I'm not a lax expert.
