as we've said so many times on this board, one of those is not like the other.

Yeah, I was hopeful when I saw 247 had him predicted to Stanford, and they didn't make the cut. Rivals has him predicted to OU though.

Honestly, I know we're probably just a name, but it's good nonetheless that we're on there. Surprised TX did not make the cut. My pick is TAMU.

Apparently he's a high academic kid so that's where a lot of the early Stanford CB's came from. I'm not sure if us being the only high academic school on that list is good or bad.

Only ND fans wouldn't count USC as a "high academic school" lol

Texas A&M - 2h45m - 6/9/18, 6/30/18, 9/8/18
LSU - 6h - 6/23/18, 11/3/18
Georgia - FAR - 1/26/19
Oklahoma - 3h - 9/22/18
Alabama - 8h15m - Never Visited
Ohio State - FAR - Never Visited
Notre Dame - FAR - Never Visited
USC - FAR - Never Visited

Here are all of his visits since June of 2018. I can't positively confirm it all, but this is a pretty good idea of where he's been and visited recently. He's a big time academic student and is in the running for Salutatorian of an 1800 person public school which is pretty amazing. ND has also visited him multiple times during the recruiting period in an effort to show their need for him. I really hope ND is able to get him on campus in the near future because I think he'd be a great fit for Notre Dame

Academically inclined Texas kid who isn't interested in Texas?

Is he from an A&M family or something?

Even without Texas in the mix, it seems like a tough pull to beat out A&M, LSU and Oklahoma. But get him on campus, meet the new RB coach, and who knows.

I guess they already do this but I liked the way they recruited Nana and they could do the same here.
"You could go to A&M/Georgia etc where 95% of the student body is from Texas/Georgia and you could be set for life in those states with the friends/connections you make or you could come to ND where the student body is from all over the country and be set for life with friends/connections form all over the country"
(ps: I don't actually know if the above is particularly accurate, just remember hearing Nana say thats why he chose ND over Texas).

Is Milton trending away from OU? I would have thought him going elsewhere would be bad news for us regarding Tyree, but maybe Milton+Tyree out means McGowan in for OU.
