I voted for Jake Golic since Mike Jr. committed so early last year and I see little bro doing the same this year. I haven't looked much at the 09 recruits yet, but Charlie and team had better get moving since I just looked at USC's 09 commits and discovered that they already have 9 (including 7 of the top 100).

He get and offer, he's not in the Rudolf category or anywhere near that but he's good, very good and expect more than 1 TE this year. I know the 1-2-1-2 etc. but Konrad Rueland transfered and Will Yeatman suspended . I will bet that they take 2 even if Yeatman returns to make it 4.

Man, I hope the offer Golic if he really wants to come... it would be one thing if he didnt have the talent to play at ND.. but like others have said with Rueland and Yeatman a little more depth here is needed... if there is a Golic out there who is talented enough to put on the jersey and really wants to play I would hope we can find room for him

I think Golic will be offered (if not already), but i think Shrive will take it first.

With the 2 horses coming in this year at TE (Rudolph and Fauria), it might not be as big a need. With the lack of depth there right now, they should see PT early and often.

And after the Presser the other day w CW, we may not see signings as early as last year w/o the HC on the road in early spring. IMO
