Sucks that it’s just based on the coach. You’re right the safety play was atrocious this year and no INTs. I’m sure Elko played it off saying they arent his guys and there’s no talent there. But a good coach would be able to get something out of them. Not like they were incoming freshman.

Still a full year to go. I feel ND will get another great chance with him.

Good news is that our new (presumed) safeties coach has worked at A&M and knows the dirty-little secrets. Also think it's not a smart move by Williams to commit just because of Elko.
