1 RB and 1 WR definitely. LB is just about full with 4 commits. Maybe another OL?

if Sabino commits, he will definately put the icing on the cake for the defense in this recruiting class. he arrives this friday, so this should be an exciting weekend.

------I don't think Sabino would be the icing because the icing just came today. Sabino can provide some sprinkles and maybe a cherry on top.

Back to the thread....

I think that Floyd and Robinson are the next two important targets. We need both.

The rest of the class is gravy IMO. I'd like to see Sabino, Baldwin or Brown commit. But, I wouldn't be heart broken if none did.

If the momentum can continue, recruits will be knocking down the door next year (and we'll have the open spots for them). I want to see players that really want to play for the University. Given the relatively early commits, I think that we have 19 of them for the 2008 class.

Let's not forget Kenny Page. If we don't land TR, we could still use at least one OL in this class. I like the D players that we've picked up, just wating on the skill positions on the O side of the ball. Floyd, Baldwin, maybe Deion Walker, although not much is known about him at this point, and any of the 3 RB's would suffice. Can't wait to see what happens in the next few weeks, it's gonna get interesting, very interesting.

Personally, i dont know what it is, but i think i would be ecstatic if Baldwin commits. Along with Floyd, we could have three recievers who are just lights out in the years to come, i dont think he is as important as Floyd, but i would put him up there right behind him.

I want Floyd and Baldwin to committ soon. That would be a sick combination with Goodman and kamara. Plus our three 6'5"+ TE's. Oh man I can see it now

Deion was just on campus yesterday and it looks like CW gave him an offer.

"Notre Dame was probably the prettiest place I've seen," he said. "Seeing Touchdown Jesus was really big for me and the whole place actually reminded me of my high school. They are both small, private schools and I like that. They are also losing some receivers and said that they really need someone like me. They like that I'm a big 6-foot-3 type of receiver."

Did you post this to his profile? (I think you're not supposed to link to the article, though.)

I would agree, but i dont think we need a RB, yeah thomas graduates and possibly jabbie, if he doesnt get 5th year i think. AFter that we are still looking good with Aldridge, Allen, and Hughes. In my opinion, we pass up on RB this year, and go hard next year. I would pick up Baldwin or Butler instead.

I agree...RB would be a luxury this year. If they get one, great. If not, we need the depth at wr. Good post.

you're right we do need more depth at WR...but with the looks of it, C Thomas is really interested in coming here. I would take him in a heart beat.

Plus having Crist or Clausen hitting them all over the field

I would like to see Jimmy hitting them all over the field. With our 3 6-5+ TE's and Kamara, Floyd, Baldwin and Goodman. Then Crist would get his chance after Jimmy goes #1 overall his Junior year.

Clausen and Crist would love to have targets that big. You really think Clausen will forgoe his senior year to turn pro?

Are those hopes or predictions? In any case, sorry, but there's just no way we're handing out 26 scholarships this year.

do you guys realize that if we give out 25 scholarships this year and the 6 seniors that are eligible come for a 5th year---we will only have 10 scholarships for the 2009 class.
