A lot of recent activity with Redd who is Thomas Graham Jr's teammate at RC HS and at Ground Zero. Will no doubt be visiting ND with TG and other GZ teammates.

Had 63 tacles, 3 INT's, 1500 APY and 15 TD's.

Socal's 17 version of Damian Alloway... kinda sorta.

Let the jokes begin!

Scout: 4-star CB Jaylon Redd Breaks Down Top Eight

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) cornerback Jaylon Redd talked about his newly released top eight, his time frame for a decision and more...

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) cornerback Jaylon Redd has been one of the most heavily recruited corners in the West in what is a loaded class.

The four-star named his top eight earlier this month.

Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, UCLA and USC made Redd's top eight and he broke them down.

Arizona: "Coach Donte (Williams) has really recruited me hard and I know he can get me better in all aspects of the game."

Arizona State: "Coach (T.J.) Rushing talks to me every day and the head coach, Todd Graham, told me I was number one on there board. They've been contacting me a lot."

Michigan: "Coach (Tim) Drevno has talked to me a lot. He wants me to join him as a receiver. We have a great relationship."

Nebraska: "Coach (Mike) Riley and the DB coach (Brian Stewart) hit me up daily just checking on me. I've already set their visit and we have great relationships as well."

Notre Dame: "They waited over an hour at my school for me to come when so I know they want me bad. I contact them a lot as well."

Oregon: "Just an overall great school. They've been recruiting me hard and Coach (Mark) Helfrich and Coach (John) Neal hit me up on a daily basis. The connection between us has always been there."

UCLA: "The bond has been there since i was a sophomore with UCLA and it has never changed. Coach Meat (Demetrice Martin) has always been the same and we have always had a great connection."

USC: "It's USC, you can never count them out. I haven't really had a lot of contact with them but we talk here and there and I'm not counting them out."

Redd said he doesn't have any unofficial visits on the docket the rest of summer.

The Under Armour All-American will announce his decision on his birthday, September 25.

Scout: announcing Sept 25th. Sounds like the visit may switch to MSU to join Graham

Scout (Biggins): Nebraska exceeded expectations. Didn't mention ND as a visit upcoming. May not mean anything, I've noticed that in the past interviews with him

Redd is projected as a CB yet only played RB last night against Mission Viejo. I guess with Graham as one of your corners you don't need much else.

They also start 3 :s: Tayari Venables (Washington St), 3 :s: Darren Hall (Colorado lean) & UR David Farmer who could be an ND walk-on if he doesn't take an FCS scholarship.

Sounds like Colin Schooler was the star of the game, as usual. Besides a handful of MWC teams, the world is asleep on this kid.

*** VERY Interesting new info... Just checked his 247 profile to see if he had any new offers in the past month and ND is now listed in the Interest category. Oh sweet 8lb lil baby Jesus let that happen. This kid will be a star in college, BK please sign him so he doesn't turn into the next Clay Matthews at SC.

I think he excel at hybrid big back/h-back/short yardage specialist or as an athletic LB. He's fast, like Pete Werner fast.
