Glad we're offering early so we don't start chasing late like this year.

He is just so much bigger than his competition.

But, great hustle by this kid.

Patchan's brother transferred to BC when A'dazio(FLA OC) became the head coach before last season.

II update, talks to Alford "all the time". He's been in contact with him constantly. Academics are important so he doesn't want class sizes that are too big. Dorm rooms, weight training, and training table are some other important things to him. We are one of several programs vying for a spring visit so he can then commit over the summer and start his role as recruiter.

-Love this kids frame and motor. Obviously has a lot of weight to add but you can't teach 6'6. Reminds me of Blankenship and I'd really like to have this guy at DE.

The first play of his highlight is impressive - ran 100 yards and then caught the back from behind without an angle. Get 11 guys playing like that and you got yourself a defense.

former 5 star that signed with Urban in Florida I believe...how'd he end up in BC

recent article on rivals about urban offering him.

His class graduated in 2012. Because of multiple sports injuries(plus two scooter accidents, and a drive by shooting), Matt was a 6th year senior at Boston College. Transferred to Boston College for his final year because of a former coach. Played defensive end for Florida as a freshman. If NFL teams are not frightened by his medical history, Matt Patchan could be a third round pick. By the way, their father Matt III, played left tackle for the Miami Hurricanes. I believe he was on the 83 and 87 National Championship teams.

Agree, love kids whose motors don't stop until they're back in the locker room.
