Well with McNeil it will be 12 verbals out of 25 scholarships. Be honest guys and girls did you ever think that recruiting would be going as good as it is when we first started talking about the Weis era?

Has Coach Weis exceeded, met, or not met your expectations in recruiting?

He has definately exceeded mine.

To have a dozen verbals before the opener has exceeded any and all of my expectations.

However, Weis' approach has been the difference. Previous staffs have not taken the initiative in recruiting that this group has. It is very pleasing. I still feel the best is yet to come. If they can go 8-3 and win a bowl, look out. I see Michigan, Purdue and USC as potential losses. With an extra week to prepare for Tennessee at home, 8-3 is reasonable. Results on the field with this crew will bring in a tremendous haul.

C'mon I knew ALL ALONG!!!! Joking. I never would have thought that C-Dub would have made this big an impact so soon. Kind of makes you smile to think that Mr. McNAsty is slowly proving all of the boobs at ESPN wrong who said that " Weis can't recruit." Great call you freaks!!!! Right again you piles of :pileof:

GO IRISH!!!!

Totally exceeded my expectations. I knew the rings and the NFL would start bringing the recruits in but not this soon! The next few years are going to remind me of the late 80's & early 90's recruiting.

Finally, we have a coach that flat out "gets it!!" I cannot wait to see Aldridge next year.

I can't believe the bang up job he's doing. As some have said already, I knew the 4 rings would help and he'd get talent there eventually, but I thought he'd of need at least a little more time than this...this is absolutely stunning, this guy's earned every cent the administration's payed him so far PLUS what they had to pay Willingham to fire him....

The players Weis has recruited are very good, however before we start talking about the return to glory, let's wait to see if the players are any good in college (i.e. class of 2002 was a great class but has under-preformed)

good point, but i'm going to predict that was poor player development among the previous regime.

the biggest suprise of the fall won't be the recruits weis lands. it will be the difference in player development among the guys he already has.

If Purdue can develop mostly average players out of highschool into legitimate BigTen contenders then it's obvious ND has had player development problems.

Enough said. I was thinking about this the other day. Purdue's draft day numbers have been good under Tiller. Coach Weis and his staff will change things.
