Zook didn't do a great job but he followed a Legend in an OJT position ala Davie (different century) and DuBose. Spurrier's retiring was lagging and he jumped before his record fell at UF. As for Dubose, need a Rules Committee interpetion of the Century Rule. Is 2000, last year of 20th or first year of 21st?

More excuses have been made for this guy than anyone in history. The truth sometimes hurts: Ty just doesn't have it—0-12 last year.

Charlie Weis? He took Notre Dame to two BCS Bowls in his first two seasons in South Bend, going 19-6. Nick Saban didn't do that at Alabama, and Saban is 19-8 after two years in Tuscaloosa. You want Weis on the list? Fine, Saban is going with him.
11 Worst Coaching Performances Of The 21st Century

That quote could have been written by Charlie, Jr. Both coaches took over troubled programs. However, Saban has to tank in '09 and '10 to maintain the comparison. Isn't going to happen. Saban did have a terrible loss to Louisiana Monroe but he wasn't 1-1 against two coaches on the 11 Worst List.

John L. Smith MSU 1-1
Greg Robinson SYR 1-1

Praise the Lord for Lionel, ND over UW 0-2
