They are going to be some playmakers in that group. I like that list so far. Hopefully they all show and don't pull a no-call / no-show...

I don't know of any limitations on number of attendees. Official visits have a max number but unofficial visits don't and Jr Day is an unofficial visit. The attendees pay their own expenses.

Detroit Duo to Visit for Jr Day

Detroit Duo to Visit for Jr Day

Per Jake Brown IrishIllustrated

Notre Dame Football: IrishIllustrated.com - Notre Dame Football

Raymon Taylor and Jermal Hosley have grown used to doing things together. The pair from suburban Detroit have been friends and teammates for years and are now starting to wind through the recruiting process together. Notre Dame has reached out to each to express interest and extended an invitation to junior day. Both athletes plan to attend the March 20 event.

What's the intinerary for a Jr. Day? Do they do full workouts, meet current team members or what?

Remound Wright now confirmed. Must have just gotten the call. They had heard nothing from ND as of Monday or Tuesday.

Then we'd have nothing to do until Summer Camp but word games and conspiracies.

What we would do for angst?

This must be a mistake, guys. I thought Kelly was exclusively going to go after 2* caliber athletes like he was able to get to come to Cincinnati. There are way too many 4* type athletes on this list for that to be the case. I really hope this Kelly guy is as advertised. Anybody else worried?

“There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind. But keep in mind that letting go isn’t the end of the world, it’s the beginning of a new life.” -unknown originator

I remember people fearing mediocrity about recruiting. But regurgitating this time and time again only increases your misery. I knew someone would throw this out. In fact, it increases my misery.

Kelly will have to prove himself, yet. But from the day he was hired, I've been on the Kelly bandwagon. I'm certain there will be bumps along the proverbial path, but I got on no seatbelt and I'm chugging a frosty gigantic mug of green kool-aid hoss with a white T-shirt on... <Thats how confident I am.

No wet T-shirt contest here, hoss.

We could engage in a critical study and discussion of the relative influences of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, I Dream of Jeanie, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Charles in Charge, Seinfeld, American Choppers and The Real Housewives of Atlanta on the levels of ennui exhibited by members of IE during the off season vis-a-vis the scatology of the BCS and the eschatological reaction to the possibility of some conferences going supernova.

Just sayin'.

... and the eschatological reaction to the possibility of some conferences going supernova.

According to the SEC, only they have a dense enough and large enough heavenly body to exude the characteristics of an actual supernova, and of course afterwards a blackhole. Maybe even large enough to induce "spaghettification" in the South Bend area.

Of course, according to another theory here on IE, we may just be a mirrored image, nay, another us in another dimension of endless possiblities. Hell, we've probably even joined conferences in some dimesnions, won national championships yearly in some, and Lou Holtz may still be coaching Notre Dame elsewhere for all we know.

Would that be with meatballs in one dimension and without in another? Garlic bread included? Calamari?

Nick Lifka is attending now as well. Don't know if ND will offer but hopefully the staff will keep in contact because he looks like he can be something special with a few years

Per ISD, Ray Hamilton will not be able to make it, but hopes to make it later in the spring or the summer...

Clay Burton won't be able to make it due to a scheduling conflict, so he was dropped from the original list, and blue-chipper Trey dePriest is confirmed to be there per ISD, which is great news...
