The Anson (Wadesboro, N.C.) outside linebacker told Sporting News Today this week that Clemson would be his slight leader of the nearby schools, while North Carolina would probably be second and South Carolina third.
But don't print the Clemson jersies with Anthony's name on them just yet, Tigers fans. He said there's no guarantee he sticks close to home. When other schools like Florida, Virginia Tech and Oklahoma have also offered scholarships and intrigue you, you don't limit yourself.
Schools like Georgia, Notre Dame and UCLA have also offered.
"Things are going pretty good with it all," Anthony (6-3/220) told Sporting News Today. "I'm enjoying it. I'm actually taking a trip to Gainesville (this week). I'm going to see Florida and catch a practice and take a tour of the campus ... I catch (pressure to stay home) all the time. But my parents are going to leave it up to me, whether I want to go the distance or stay close to home." ...
