Top players, coaches, team fans honored in Herbie Awards - ESPN

A couple highlights I noticed....

1) Micheal Floyd - Not even in the top 5 for WRs...This is just straight ridiculous.
2) Kyle Rudolph - #3 for dressed for success. Also Herbie's #1 TE in the country.
3) Manti Te'o - #3 Biggest Hitter... This is nice to see Herbie actually giving Manti props.
4) ND Students - #2 Student section. I found this really surprising, seems ND students never get their props.

Overall, Herbie did a decent job... Minus leaving Michael Floyd absent from the list.

Side note, Herbie gives way to much props to Jacory Harris. he hasn't proved anything overly amazing imo.

Saw it earlier today. Ridiculous that he left Floyd of the Top 5 WR's.

Also stupid that we were left off the Top 5 bands, we did have the first one ya' know.

No Metion of Floyd on the WR or playmakers list is flat horrid... but really made me frown the most is he had the nerve to put Michigan on the top up and coming programs and not mention us anywhere.... really????

What do they have going for them right now?

And the band was just a disgrace to be left out, but not as big as a disgrace as leaving Floyd out. I mean look at the stats. You can't deny Floyd his dues.

Best Wide Reciever: No MICHAEL FLOYD??
Michigan is up and coming??
Jacory Harris is in the mix for best "pocket passer" and not "dual threat qb?"
Theres a few things that really baffle me about this list but all in all its full of talent. Just goes to show how truely talented college football is this year. Its ok that a few of our guys are undervalued and forgotten because at the end of the season our point will be made.

I agree having UM listed int eh top 5 up and coming programs was a surprise and odd...But like he says these are just his opinions. Whatever take it with a grain of salt.

I would love to hear his explanation about leaving Floyd off the list. I wonder if the injuries are the reason or...? Who knows?

This guy has morfed into just another watch your butt talking head from espn. I put no credence in any of his stuff anymore after he and Bob Davie told me this was the national championship game in '06 when Mich played Ohio State. Then they both got crushed in their next game-so much for Herbie. In a way I feel sorry for these guys as they dont know enough to make predictions and are ask to do so and then end up looking like stooges.
