it used to bother me so much when people would hate on ND. i would get so frustrated trying to discuss any related topic with them bc each point ended with the unrelenting comment "ND SUCKS" without any rhyme or reason.

i've decided to just respond to questions/insults about our perceived entitlement/favortism by simply saying "bc we deserve it, we're ND". i head them off before they can start their routine by playing into the stereotype. let them be pissed off and frustrated. they esp hate it after a 3-9 season bc they think i should have seen the light by now.

you shouldve seen a usc fan's face when i offered a bet of $100 that ND would finish 7-5 or better. the loser has to place 100 $1 bills in the winners hand one at a time. i can't wait to see his face when the last bill is in my hand.

i actually broke my "we deserve it" stance to discuss the schedule. all that followed from him was "LOSS! LOSS!..." as i gave each team and why we have a good shot. unbelievable. esp when i gave cred to usc for being the best on our schedule. some times i hate living in cali. cant wait til we take the reins back on that series.
