I don’t like her respond she made to someone that said they just need to let him be… she responded, “he is contractually obligated to speak to us.”

First, he isn’t a slave. He doesn’t have to do anything. The NFL can fine him if they choose for not talking, but he doesn’t have to do anything.
Second, his contract says he has to speak to the press, not you specifically.
Third, he can say whatever he wants. Speaking to you doesn’t mean he has to tell you what you want to hear.
Fourth, that is a BS reply. It’s like a kid who sucks at sports who consistently calls fouls then recites the rule book.

I was at a concert probably 15 years ago where it was both a normal & an acoustic set.
During the acoustic set when it was quiet a dude kept yelling at the singer to do something and the singer finally smiled & replied, “no.”
The idiot yelled about buying a ticket.
The singer responded the person purchased a ticket to see him in person, but didn’t mean he had to sing. He then jokingly spent 30 seconds talking about his favorite color.
