Ed Hazelett is a name that is constantly coming up around my parts, so I figured I'd add a profile for him. With his size, Hazelett is a very unique prospect because of matchup problems he could cause at 6-9.

He went to the Ohio State Nike Camp with teammates Darren Evans, Adrien Robinson and Jeremy Finch and got rave reviews at 14 years of age. Pretty scary what he can do with some experience and maturity.

Entirely possible. Right now, he has a higher ceiling in football then he does in basketball IMO. However, it all depends on how he does grow and works.

I'm not joking. If he's going to play TE he needs to have better stats than that, doesn't he? There are certainly players his size or bigger that have better measurables. Didn't Chris Stewart have over a 24 inch vertical?

Well considering the kid is only in 10 th grade why dont you wait and see what happens. ND is going to be stacked with TE's for years to come.

Well, before we give a kid shit, let's remember that, he is a sophomore, and he is 6'7", 250. We're looking at more a an OT than a TE. Don't be surprised if Joe Fauria ends up at OT for us down the road. Some of the best OT's started out as a TE. Andy Heck comes to mind. Also the kid from either Western Michigan, or Central Michigan who was taken late 1st rd. or early 2nd rd. in the NFL draft this year. I will say this, Warren Central isn't known for turning out academically challenged masterminds. But from a purely football perspective, let's not jump on a kid and give him shit because you can run soo much faster and jump higher.

I love how people complain about threads getting hijacked or the the content in posts, but when we as staff try to do our job cleaning it up some of you guys complain about your posts getting edited or deleted, as well as warnings in some more serious cases. That's just part of the way message boards are, nobody ever said you had the right to post anything you want. That's not just directed at you GS, that's for quite a few people out there recently. Try not to be so combative, just relax a little and life will be more fun.
