Have I missed something? Has USC learned to tackle? Until they show they have a defense with a pulse (Pyne was 23-36 318 3TD's and 1 INT) I refuse to count this game as a loss, it's 50/50 for me rn. Toughest to easiest- Clemson, OSU, U$C.

I'd contend the defenses on those two teams were the main reason ND went to the playoffs, along w/ a great run game. QB play was just efficient enough. Now, with that being said, that's the same situation that Bama will be in this year. great defense and good to possibly great RB's.

Wish nothing but the best to Balis and hope the family issue is resolved quickly. That said at least he waited until the the season started. My main hope is he gave MF enought of a heads up that he's been working on a replacement and we can get someone in that role before the season starts.

Possible saving grace here is it seems like scUM is bogging down w/ their current class. I know they were expecting a 3 or 4 commits coming from a weekend a few weeks back and no commitments have happened yet. So let's hope this is the last hurdle ND has to get past.
