I don't know, but I think the odds are better than 50%. And I doubt this IU team loses to both, which is what killed us. To be clear, I would take us against anyone except IU and OSU, and maybe Oregon. And even those are 50/50 games.

When you take transfers you can see in advance how good they are. It wasn't like nobody at ND knew Coogan was good.

Yeah, Alabama and OU played tough schedules on paper. It means nothing. What matters for the playoff is going 12-0 or 11-1. That basically guarantees you a spot regardless of SOS.
