I don’t know if it was mentioned in this thread but the last 3 ND coaches to win a natty did it in their 3rd year: Ara, Devine and Holtz.

I just looked at the stats. He was barely over 50% for 171 yards. How does that raise his draft grade? On at least 2 of the 3 TD passes (didn’t see the other) his guys were wide open or ran in a short pass.

Allar’s a game manager with a great running game and good O Line. He could suck on a lesser team.

ND 28-14 since it’s an early game in So Cal. A night game would have reduced the margin to one score IMO.
