Both Alabama and OU are middling (and worse than ND and Miami) but one of them has to win. I'd expect Bama, because OU won the first time and got lucky. OU jumping ND was as bizarre/unjustifiable as Bama doing so.

I agree, although it's an open question whether the O Line will be playing at that level. They were emphatically not ready for the Miami game and it was a big part of our offensive struggles.
