The scheduling this year was definitely bad. But I don't know of a future (or, for that matter, past) schedule where we play our two toughest opponents first. I don't know who signed off on that.

Among the worst losses in recent ND history because its consequences. The coaches/team didn't seem ready, especially on defense. Oh, and the timing of the first two games was the result of awful scheduling.
