I think it gives them the chance to ease him back until someone gets banged up, which will undoubtedly happen

That's a good ole fashioned, blue-collar Pittsburgher right there.

Ha! I watched Joe play in person but Gannon was before my time going to UD games. Flacco still has the strongest arm I've ever seen in person.

My other thought is would we want Carr to start, struggle with turnovers, hope to split the first 2 games with the possibility of him getting pulled and most likely playing his last game in a ND uniform, or Kenny playing, lean on run game and defense to win first 2 games and maybe never see Carr...

My devils advocate position today, if Kenny has been that much better than Carr, then it should be an easy decision. Yet it does not seem to be easy.

I wish I didn't look, i think I got contact dumb. Kenny may very well win the job but most of those dudes are just message board merchants. Grubl was in there talking about spring game stats. Waitttttt

The spring game has almost zero bearing at this point. Regardless, there is almost no chance they will decide before their final scrimmage of camp this weekend. There is no benefit to making the decision beforehand

Off topic but it was fun seeing Matt Freeman go from IE message board poster to ND beat/insider. Always root hard for those guys.
