Agreed and aggressive doesn't have to mean tempo. I should have included that in my previous post

Well his ST’s are very aggressive so I don’t think that’s relevant to everything.

I could be misremembering this, but I thought Freeman said during his HC acceptance presser or one of his media appearances shortly after, that he wanted to be aggressive in all phases of the game. And, I remember thinking this means Tommy is going to open up the offense with Buch at QB. So...

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

Uh, BVG is by far and away the biggest mistake of BK's tenure. The team was immediately better just from him no longer be present in the Gug.

Their names are Freeman, Coach DMC, Stuckey, and Bowden. Considering that it's very likely, whoever they hire, won't be here long term, we'd rather have the relationships connected to Freeman, Bowden, etc. It's precisely what they pitched Carr from the beginning. The next phase of...

Mullins is a name I'll circle early as a guy I'd love to have in this class.

Putting together a prolific offense, on the field, next year will do more for recruiting that the recruiting chops of the person being hired.

Well, I don't really know what you mean by sexy so instead of going back and forth on who is or is not sexy, I think the general point to make is there is a very real chance that we can get a very good coach to be ND's next OC and next years roster and winning should be the top priority with...

While I agree that next year will be about Moe's and Joe's, I come to a completely different conclusion. We already have those guys so the coaching of those guys and the play calling will be the differentiator. If we were worried about Moe's and Joe's for 2024 or 2025 then maybe we take...

As someone that likes Candle, the OC candidate. Anything worth sharing? I think there is a few of us that are intrigued.

Mayer was dubbed Baby Gronk as a True Freshman. Nothing against Parker but he had little to do with Mayers ascension. That was already in motion.

That list is full of good coaches so if that is a list of candidates with mutual interest then it seems unlikely we’ll be left with Parker or anything worse. I’m mostly interested in Ludwig, Candle, Moorhead, and Johnson for varying reasons.

Denbrock was very under appreciated evaluating and recruiting WR’s. But, he wouldn’t be my top choice.

'24 TX CB Leonard Moore (Notre Dame Signee)

Hobbs and Moore is a great early start at CB. Now they can comfortably wait on a decision for for a guy like Beasley with little downside.

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

I think this is great point and I agree with all of it, long term. My concern is that this impacts next seasons offense enough that we limit the upside, once again, of what this team can achieve. Here's to hoping that doesn't happen.

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

I think the timing of this is my biggest concern. Not only the timing with regards to the coaching carousel, but also with regards to the roster. Hartman, a 6th year QB with tons of experience, coming in to run Tommy's offense seems like an easy mesh with the time they have. Bringing in a new...

With Moorehead's propensity to push the ball downfield and Hartman's efficiency at doing so, seems like quite the match. Though, if he turned down the Bama OC job, seems doubtful he'd take ND's.
