I think it seems like both. Definitely more spread out talent in the EPL. Definitely a different style, ruggedness that wears on the EPL teams over a long season/deep cup runs.

I think the style of play in the CL and EL seem to suit continental teams a little more. Can't put my finger on it much, and I don't have data, but from watching games, it just feels like English teams' styles don't quite mesh with it.

Hindsight is 20/20, but Pulisic would have been better off for his career staying in Germany IMHO. At this point, could he go back though? Also, I think Leeds and Newcastle would be FAR superior clubs for him currently in the EPL.
