Here is PFF on the topic with many stats. Worth the read. For the 1,500, it's NFL only carries. Here is their stance on college workload too... https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-breaking-down-fact-and-fiction-about-how-and-when-nfl-running-backs-begin-to-regress-2021

If they were that irreplaceable, they would get paid. But the marginal benefit of spending that sum of money on a RB versus another position is diminished in most cases. There are many serviceable RBs that can have 70% of the production for 25% the cost. If you were writing the checks, you...

I don't think one year less of college is going to make a difference. The issue is the grind of the NFL, not the 200-300 carries they got their junior year. Sure, it doesn't help their cause, but avoiding it won't change the outcome IMO.

Honestly, it's not that unique. Of the first round draft picks of 2011 to 2020, only 44% went on to sign a second contract with the team that drafted them. It gets worse by round. So a RB not reaching a long term deal isn't super unique.

That's not a problem, it's a market. Some markets value things differently. Know it, plan around it, move on. If I were him, I would tell Kiffen I was on a pitch count for the year.

My 8YO is +99% in height and not quite 99 in weight. Kid is a monster. His hands are almost bigger than my wife's. I am convinced he is going to be a tackle.

Northwestern Football Hazing/Pat Fitzgerald Let Go

I wonder how much the Big Ten is involved now. If NW admin went scorched earth and players left so they realistically couldn't field a team, what would happen to those schedule slots in conference play? It's in the rest of the big tens interest that NW fills a team, no matter how terrible they are.

    New Apparel and Shoe Deal

Look, there is a reason why major corporations take specific actions to avoid the appearance of conflicted interests. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But, this is absolutely public knowledge that his kids work at senior positions with companies ND has a significant relationship with. Even if it...
