Yeah EPL, it's really blowing up. This is the best EPL season anyone can remember, which helps. I said this last year, but I'm going to make a real effort to watch more MLS this year. I love reading articles like this, about how world soccer superstars like Pirlo come to the U.S. to revel...

What a performance by the Reds last night. Lallana at his best is so dangerous.

I think it was just a horrible miscalculation by Per. It looked like if he stretched out fully he had a chance of getting the ball. He just didn't make it there. Like everybody, he's getting a little older and slower and he just misjudged it, in my view. I'm not sure I agree that it...

I think that must be it. I don't root for either team, but I watched the NBC Sports telecast live, and I thought it was a pretty clear red card, and so did the color commentators, and so did the studio analysts.

My feeling exactly. I don't know that I've ever personally disliked an athlete as much.

It's weird, man. The Reds are playing great football in most facets of the game right now, but they have two fatal flaws: can't score enough goals, can't defend set pieces. If they figure those two things out, they could start making noise. I'm still hopeful they do figure them out and win...

Yeah the chemistry just isn't right. Whatever the problem is for Liverpool, I don't think you can pin it on any one guy. It just isn't the right group somehow. He would be an absolutely perfect signing. I am hopeful Origi will grow to be that type of player, but he has a ways to go.

Amazing game to watch, I agree. Both sides will feel like they should have won. I have been a big Mignolet defender over the last few weeks (as has Klopp), but Migs made things hard for himself yesterday. That corner kick goal was appalling. Ward drew raves out on loan in Scotland. Might...

The inconsistency since Klopp took over is frustrating, but the Reds definitely seem like they are headed in the right direction. Just gotta start scoring more goals. They dominated the match on Saturday, and they could easily have scored 2 or 3 and put the match out of reach.

Had to happen. They will bounce back quickly. Just too much quality not to. Last year, Dortmund went from bottom club to 7th and Europa League qualifier. I expect a similar finish for Chelsea.

God how does he do that shit? Those karate kick goals just blow me away.

Right?? I mean we are approximately 1/4 of the way through the season. Imagine if Urban lost his first three games this season. Would OSU fire him? No way.

I agree that as bad as they've looked, it would be hasty to get rid of Mourinho. It seems crazy to jettison a coach who just won you a title after 1/4 of a bad season. I also agree, and am stunned, at the fact that Willian has been the one guy pulling his weight this year. He was so...

Everyone's saying he has to win tomorrow. The Blues are in complete disarray. It's amazing. These are the same guys who were basically wire-to-wire champs last year. I don't know what happened to them.

Wow. Well done Gunners. I'm interested to see what Man City is going to do tomorrow. They have been just ok in Champs League but utterly dominant in Premier League action this year.

Mourinho, that's fascinating. Best coach in the world, in the short term. The thing about him is that I'd be worried about him taking us to an improbable semifinal WC berth, let's say, and then losing interest and pissing people off and leaving the U.S. Soccer program in a state of chaos. I...

Totally agree. I love what Jurgen has done with U.S. Soccer generally, but what's happening on the field just isn't good enough lately. To come out in a big game with a lineup boasting a lot of veterans and get thoroughly outplayed like we were Saturday ... unacceptable. That game seemed to...

Yeah the most credible rumors I've heard (which aren't necessarily very credible at all) involve Subotic. Honestly I think Liverpool might need Gundogan more than Reus. Liverpool have invested in a lot of good attacking players (although some of those investments may have been unwise), but...

Huge, huge news. Of the numerous coaching hires ND football has made in my lifetime, I wish any of them felt like even half as good a hire as this one for LFC. Klopp is the perfect guy for LFC right now. I'm hopeful of a quick turnaround.
