There is a decent chance Jalen Carter is still on the board considering most likely 4 QB's and 2 DE's are taken ahead of #9. If one of the QB's is still there, maybe they trade back again.

Especially considering his dad worked as a D line coach for a few years.

Jordan brand. Make it part of the contract that they have to dump Michigan. The jumpman logo stitched in gold would be an amazing look.

The other half of that is that MF was willing to go outside of his Rolodex and go big game hunting with Luke before just relying on his connections.

He was recruiting O lineman to Wisconsin though... so I'm not sure how tough that would be to recruit. Alot of those recruits were probably in state as well.

According to football scoop, candidates are Luke, one from the SEC and one from the NFL. That makes 3... which means Watt isnt a candidate.

FWIW, Harry didnt do a great deal of recruiting. MF is all about recruiting, so I doubt he would try to sell a coach on the fact that he wouldnt have to recruit hard. But the fact remains that Luke could put in an average amount of effort on the trail and still be an improvement over Harry.

Give credit to MF... he is taking his swings. This may end up being the coaching equivalent of Keon Keeley... but you gotta take your shot.

If it comes down to a family decision, you gotta think MF would be the perfect coach to close the deal.

This raises an interesting point. Clearly, as of now the media is severely lacking in inside sources from the MF coaching staff. Cant help but wonder what the media has to do to develop trust and connections from the current staff.

Studwara is an interesting name. Anyone know why he was fired from OSU? Their lines seemed to have been pretty good while he was there. Doesnt seem like he was picked up anywhere else either. Freeman would probably know the inside scoop in any case.

Yet ND doesnt have an O line coach? Wouldnt it have made sense to have someone on board so that there was a name behind the offer? Unless of course, this means that the position has been filled?
