    Clemson Postgame

Was out of the country and couldn't watch but watched replay last night. Wow! I would trade 2 slip ups like Stanford and Marshall for a big game coming out party all day. 1) Benjamin Morrison was awesome. Best performance I can remember by an ND CB. Singlehandedly kept Clemson from...

    Stanford Postgame

So you all didn't think there would be growing pains for a first year head coach at Notre Dame with an historically young staff and no QB? Grow some balls and stop asking for everyone to be fired. I get it, this season is not going how you expected in your little fantasy world imagination.

Thinking about the USMNT...the only way I see them getting through the group stage is scoring a few goals on set pieces. There is neither the creativity nor the high level talent in the system to score against this competition in open play. So the question to Berhalter is why the hell won't...

Obviously Musah and Weah are very important to this team and it showed. Berhalter is going to screw up the striker position because he won't deviate from his system.

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

Haven't read through all of the banter but I'm not sure where my stance on Tommy is at the moment. Right or wrong, I do think Buchner's injury is a get out of jail free card for Tommy though.

    Marshall Postgame

2 games into a new head coach tenure and half of this board is already calling for him to be fired. You guys need to get a grip on reality. Have a little patience and stop being emotional d-bags. There is a lot to be concerned about this year but let a little more of this season play out...

    Marshall Postgame

Yep, this thread is exactly what I thought it'd be. Full meltdown, somewhat justifiably, but we need to dial down the pessimism just a bit.

    Marshall Postgame

It was a bad loss but I'm not ready to pass judgement on the season yet. Freeman looks a little overwhelmed. Rees didn't call a good game. Both lines were inferior to the opponent. But growing pains are expected in situations like this. Let's see how they respond.

    Sept 10 | Marshall

I think Tommy is making this way too complicated. Just call the fucking play and score

    Sept 10 | Marshall

I'm not sure if the refs are ignoring the holding or just not seeing it.

    Sept 10 | Marshall

Weirdly I think we figure it out in the 2nd half and end up covering. I think the offense is figuring it out. The defense will respond. I dont think Marshall scores another TD

    Sept 10 | Marshall

Tommy needs to show us something on this drive. He needs to make it easier on Buchner. Roll him our with one or two reads. Some misdirection runs. Need to calm the QB down with playcalling

    Sept 10 | Marshall

I am going to reserve judgment on Buchner and I think everyone else should too. The offensive line issues are glaring but probably fixable. The WR situation is pretty dire. The RBs can't seem to pick up blitzes. Add all that up and it's not a great situation for an inexperienced QB to start...

    Sept 10 | Marshall

That was a bad decision and a worse throw

    Sept 10 | Marshall

No matter how this game turns out, this is concerning. I'm not sure anyone can be optimistic about the rest of the season.

    Sept 10 | Marshall

    This is hard to watch

    Sept 10 | Marshall

I'm not sure our defense can keep us in 4-5 more games on our schedule. The offense needs to figure it out.
  18. InKellyWeTrust

    Sept 10 | Marshall

I'd love to see an absolute gashing but I'm not sure this team is built to beat teams 52-3. I'd expect ND to score mid 30s and give up around 10

Crazy they pulled the plug on him so quickly after the Champions League champ, but it was needed. Chelsea became painful to watch under his management.
