Obviously Musah and Weah are very important to this team and it showed. Berhalter is going to screw up the striker position because he won't deviate from his system.

Haven't read through all of the banter but I'm not sure where my stance on Tommy is at the moment. Right or wrong, I do think Buchner's injury is a get out of jail free card for Tommy though.

Yep, this thread is exactly what I thought it'd be. Full meltdown, somewhat justifiably, but we need to dial down the pessimism just a bit.

It was a bad loss but I'm not ready to pass judgement on the season yet. Freeman looks a little overwhelmed. Rees didn't call a good game. Both lines were inferior to the opponent. But growing pains are expected in situations like this. Let's see how they respond.

Tommy needs to show us something on this drive. He needs to make it easier on Buchner. Roll him our with one or two reads. Some misdirection runs. Need to calm the QB down with playcalling

I am going to reserve judgment on Buchner and I think everyone else should too. The offensive line issues are glaring but probably fixable. The WR situation is pretty dire. The RBs can't seem to pick up blitzes. Add all that up and it's not a great situation for an inexperienced QB to start...

No matter how this game turns out, this is concerning. I'm not sure anyone can be optimistic about the rest of the season.
