I'm anxiously awaiting the case documentation coming out tomorrow because all I see so far is everyone parroting what was said by different "family members," and a roommate but nothing substantiated. It's all coming from what Patel said or the FBI. They have said repeatedly that Robinson is...

That statement is a little dramatic, wouldn't you agree?

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

Our baby is all grows up! Tommy Rees, former Notre Dame and Alabama OC, linked to head coaching vacancy Another potential step of progress on his way to one day coming back to South Bend as ND Head Coach (maybe when MF goes to the NFL down the road?)

Chris "Belt To" Ash - Defensive Coordinator

I'm fuming like most of us are but we do have to remember, that with all the new personnel, new DC and his schemes, this can take some time to optimize (I know who has the patience?). Unfortunately, the team had two of its most challenging opponents as first two teams played. I'm pretty sure...

    Al Golden

It is being speculated right now, but obviously this would be the scenario where Bengals absolutely fall apart and they feel it's time for a change and so they axe Zac Taylor and unfortunately, Al exits the franchise with him. But that's likely a Dec or January move obviously but could come in...

Chris "Belt To" Ash - Defensive Coordinator

Why not? He would never be a HC candidate for ND but I think he could do well as the DC. Hey, I'm open to anything that would work right now... But as I stated early today, I don't think MF would ever make an early season change and firing like that. It's not his style and he looks for a coach...

Chris "Belt To" Ash - Defensive Coordinator

I could see a number of holds right in front of me on the TV screen.

    Coaching Carousel

I get the fact that it was late January, but how many times have we seen any coach but esp. Assistant coaches make a move to an even better coaching opportunity in late January or early February, even though the ink has barely dried on signing the contract w/ current school? (I guess also...

Chris "Belt To" Ash - Defensive Coordinator

Hey, we're laughing but Orgeron said "... And I love the coach at Notre Dame (Marcus Freeman). I’m friends with him and I’ve been there a couple of times. He’s a great guy and the players love him. He runs a tough practice..." “I think it’s time,” Orgeron said. “I’m feeling it a little bit...

    Amir Carlisle Transfers to ND

Not sure what this means other than he's leaving for a better opportunity, but he was only here for what, 8 months? Sources: Notre Dame losing staffer to NFL

    Sept 13 | Texas A&M

These were some names offered for him to look at, but not sure who MF and AD actually considered in addition to Ash? I think some of these names, I'm pretty sure, Jim Leonhard, were in the mix for consideration: Mike Mickens: As the current Notre Dame defensive backs coach, Mickens was seen as...

    Sept 13 | Texas A&M

Here are my thoughts; - It's clear from D play and from comments we're hearing from insiders and players that something for the D is not clicking, they're not playing inspired and confident, and they're playing a lot of the game like a deer in the headlights - We saw a majority of these D...

There also was an obvious hold we all could see on that last set of 4 downs on the 2nd or 3rd down; refs called nothing...

    Texas A&M Postgame

When your D is playing below its potential, that's when the calls and bounces (and dropped interceptions) seem to go against it. There's just a lack of confidence in winning right now and there's no personality of optimism and grit.

I don’t know. I’m no pro analyzer of a game, but it just seems for 2 straight weeks, pretty capable QBs are just sitting back and throwing zingers downfield because there is no pass pressure or any sacks or effects, disruptive blitzes like we had last year. The O will surely keep us in the game...

Yes, I’m sorry I made that call in the passion of the game. I just replied to another poster, we were likely to lose in OT anyway the way the game was going against us (bad luck)

Tons of holding they didn’t call. Also, that call on TAMU’s kickoff TD was a bad call and we go down by 1 but WE get the ball last and probably slow play clock and instead and score last to win the game. That was just bad luck.
