Only thing that makes sense, being a golfer, is he has a bad case of the yips. Maybe that long dime helps him out of it. He has a decent arm, he's trusting his OL more and going to 2nd and 3rd reads. He does seem to be "aiming" little bit and some of those throws were bad as a result. Other...

RL looks dejected. I mean, I know he's tired of being booed and I'm sure hearing about how he can't complete a forward pass. Just build on it now.

Is ND really pursuing National Championships?

At the end of the day, you really can’t have any weaknesses and expect to get a championship. As it should be. Could you get lucky (see last year), sure. But 9 times out of 10 you have to be great across the board.

Is ND really pursuing National Championships?

I would argue, that's where championships start, i.e. you can't win one if you can't win the battle upfront consistently on both sides. However, you need playmakers in the backend on both sides. I still contend, had ND brought back Alt and Fischer (theoretically) and Leonard was the 2022...

Kinda makes u wonder, you will have Wagner, Jagusah, Lambert and Knapp, then Black. I could see Knapp and Jagusah bumping inside, but replacing who? Good problems to have.

‘21 AL QB Riley Leonard (Duke Transfer - Notre Dame Verbal)

THis is the point the talking heads, and apparently, the head coach, are missing. We as fans, understand you could run all you wanted on Purdue and that gameplan worked. But we are projecting to matchups where that plan won't work. Against good defenses who put 8 or 9 in the box and send their...

I was being facecious. If we are going to get athletes in space, there's about 8 guys I'd rather have doing that than Thomas.

In 2007 Tebow passed for almost 3300 yards and 32 touchdowns. It would take Leonard like 30 or 40 games to do that.

I'd prefer not to have our slowest WR running end arounds. That was painful to watch. Why not have Raridon or Flanagan run a couple while we're at it.

Craigs snapping got better, but I wanted to punch the screen with all the crap snaps against A&M. It was like Leonard was playing shortstop out there trying not to let the ball get by him.

To me, it's the coaches know they can't call a game plan that rely's specifically on being pass first. But, not only pass first, but passing in a way that defenses can't put 8 or 9 in the box. The passing TD to Flanigan worked because the safety sold out on stopping the run. He never even...
